European Youth Centre Břeclav (EYCB) is organising MIND — Mindfulness, Inclusion, Non-Judgment & Diversity for Mental Health — an Erasmus+ KA1 Training Course taking place in Vranov nad Dyjí, Czech Republic, from 24 to 30 June 2026. The course brings together 26 youth workers from Czechia, Croatia, Germany, and Hungary.

What Is This Training About?

The MIND training course is designed to elevate the expertise of youth workers in supporting young people's mental wellbeing through creative and practical non-formal approaches. It is grounded in four core principles: Mindfulness, Inclusion and integration, Non-judgment and non-discrimination, and Diversity and intercultural understanding— alongside European citizenship and employability.

🧘 Introduction to MIND for mental health — mindfulness, inclusion, diversity, European citizenship, and employability in the framework of youth work

🎭 Non-formal education methods — interactive activities, simulations, and role-plays integrating mental health topics into youth work practice

📋 Designing MIND for mental health programmes — setting learning objectives, developing lesson plans, evaluating outcomes, and designing dissemination strategies

🌍 Diversity, inclusion, and intercultural competence — strategies to foster inclusive environments and empower marginalised groups

📢 Dissemination planning — designing national-level activities to be implemented at home after the training

Daily Programme Highlights

📅 Day 1 — Arrival, welcome dinner, welcoming mixer

📅 Day 2 — Safety, expectations, social contract, team building, YouthPass, learning processes, passion object evening

📅 Day 3 — Mental health concepts, identifying early signs of challenges, narratives of hope, intercultural evening

📅 Day 4 — Stigma reduction, burnout prevention, sensitive conversations, content creation — booklet, podcasts, visibility

📅 Day 5 — Trauma-informed care, MBSR, crisis intervention, national resources, dissemination activities

📅 Day 6 — Stress management, professional boundaries, compassion fatigue, YouthPass reflection, TC evaluation, farewell party

Who Should Apply?

🔹 Youth workers aged 18 and above from one of the participating countries

🔹 Working directly with young people in youth work, education, or community settings

🔹 Interested in mental health, mindfulness, inclusion, and diversity

🔹 Committed to completing the Participation Report, Mobility Tool, and dissemination activities after the project
