Stronger Minds, Stronger Communities

Training Course

22-28 May 2026 | Astudillo (Palencia), Spain

"Stronger Minds, Stronger Communities" tackles youth mental health through a holistic approach. It equips youth workers with CBT tools to identify negative thoughts, foster resilience, and empower youth to navigate daily challenges effectively.

This training course moves beyond simple awareness, providing youth workers with a robust "psychological first-aid kit" based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles, combined with holistic well-being practices.

Our mission is to empower those on the front lines of youth work to identify early signs of anxiety, depression, and stress, while fostering resilience through a unique blend of emotional regulation and physical activity in nature.

The 3 Pillars of the Program:

1. Mastering the ABC Model and cognitive restructuring to manage anxiety. Participants will learn to facilitate practical tools like "Calm Maps," breathing techniques, and positive anchoring.

2. Combining physical and expressive practices; such as acroyoga, mindfulness, and introspective writing to boost self-awareness and emotional regulation through non-formal action.

3. Building professional networks through Open Space sessions and empathy-driven activities. This pillar focuses on sharing NFE tools and fostering solidarity through group cohesion and nature-based exploration.

This activity is specifically designed for youth workers, educators, facilitators, and youth leaders (aged 18-40) from Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Jordan, North Macedonia, and Spain.

The training follows a learning-by-doing methodology, to create a safe, inclusive, and highly participatory environment.

If you've ever been part of an Erasmus+ project group chat, you already know the energy: the awkward introductions, the overenthusiastic emojis, the plans that never happen, and the inside jokes that follow you for years. This article captures the evolution of every Erasmus+ group dynamic with humour and honesty — and if you haven't experienced it yet, consider this your preview of what's coming.
