EUROPE AT THE HOUSE OF PROJECT !

MAISON DE L'EUROPE LE MANS - SARTHE
Maison des Projets
Ballon, France
DESCRIPTION
By welcoming a volunteer, we hope to contribute to the empowerment and cultural awareness of young people and children living in our region. We are convinced that by welcoming young volunteers from the European Corps, we are showing young French people living in rural areas that they have the opportunity to access resources, cultural opportunities, and study opportunities outside their own homes, and that they are not confined to rural areas. For the young European volunteer, this is a unique experience, an opportunity to discover another culture, build a new network, and make themselves useful. For the organization, it's about developing projects related to European citizenship, enriching projects with a linguistic dimension, and allowing people to enjoy an intercultural experience.
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
You will have a room in a shared house with other ESC volunteers, in the city of Le Mans with everything provided. You will be provided with a card for the bus to go there everyday (1hour ride). On school days, you'll have the posibility to eat at the school canteen. For the others meals you will receive money to buy your food. If you have a car of your own, we can imagine you coming with it and we'd contribute to gas to lighten a bit transportation.
