A wall. A group of young people from across Europe. And 16 days to turn ideas about social change into something that will stay on that wall long after everyone goes home. Colours Without Borders is a team ESC volunteering project hosted by EgyรผttHatรณ and MOPKA in Hungary โ combining street art, activism, intercultural exchange, and genuine community building into one of the most visually tangible volunteering experiences out there.
๐๏ธ About the Project
Colours Without Borders is a 16-day international group volunteering project bringing together young people from across Europe to explore social issues through art and activism. The project is hosted by two Hungarian youth organisations working with local communities and young people from diverse backgrounds. Activities take place partly in Budapest and partly in Veresegyhรกz. No previous art experience is needed โ just motivation, openness, and curiosity.
๐ฏ The Role
Volunteers will work together as a group โ learning, discussing, creating, and ultimately designing and painting a mural on the wall of a community space. The mural is a real, lasting artwork that will remain in the community after the project ends.
