About the Project

This is a long-term ESC individual volunteering project in Kraków, focused on early childhood support and intercultural exchange.

You’ll be part of a kindergarten environment where your role is not just to assist, but to bring your own culture, language, and ideas into daily activities with children. It’s a people-focused experience where patience, creativity, and consistency matter more than anything else.

What You’ll Do

👶 Supporting children (ages 3+) in their daily routines
🎨 Organizing and leading your own cultural and creative activities
🧩 Assisting staff during educational sessions and events
🖍️ Preparing materials and decorations for activities
🌳 Supporting outdoor activities and trips
🤝 Participating in meetings with staff and occasionally parents
📅 Joining monthly workshops and meetings organized by the hosting organization

Accommodation, Food & Travel

🏠 Shared apartments in Kraków (mostly double rooms)
🍽️ Monthly food allowance provided
💶 Pocket money: 6€ per day
✈️ Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC rules
🏙️ Flats located close to the workplace in accessible neighborhoods

Training & Support

📚 Pre-departure preparation by sending organization
🏫 On-arrival training and internal orientation
🧠 Monthly meetings and workshops with other ESC volunteers
📊 Mid-term evaluation organized by the National Agency
