โจ About the Training Course
This 4-day intensive training provides youth workers and professionals the tools to explore and implement interfaith dialogue in their work with young people. The course focuses on how to use dialogue as a means to build understanding, respect, and peace across diverse communities.
๐ Objectives
- Understand what interfaith dialogue is (and is not), its mechanisms, and how it can foster peace and community building.
- Reflect on personal beliefs, organizational practices, and structural challenges.
- Develop and strengthen anti-discrimination behaviors and inclusive practices.
- Exchange strategies and tools for promoting interfaith dialogue in youth projects.
- Apply these concepts to Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps projects.
๐ฏ Who Should Apply?
- Profile: Youth workers, leaders, educators, religious leaders, social/health workers, employment officers, and others working directly with young people.
- Open to believers, atheists, seekers, and all who value dialogue and diversity.
- Priority: Professionals working with youth from diverse religious or minority/migrant backgrounds.
- Committed to developing skills in diversity management and interfaith dialogue practices.
- Able to work in English.
- From Erasmus+ Youth Programme countries or EU neighboring partner countries.
