You can join an international Erasmus+ training course in Mannheim, Germany, where participants from across Europe will come together to explore urban resilience, participatory youth work, and the co-creation of community spaces. What Will You Experience During the Training?

๐Ÿ™๏ธ Explore how young people experience resilience in their everyday spaces and connect this to practical youth work approaches

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Practice participatory tools such as community mapping, dialogue circles, and co-creation labs

๐ŸŒ Exchange challenges and solutions with peers from Europe and Egypt to strengthen intercultural dialogue skills

๐Ÿ’ก Develop small-scale project concepts and practical action steps to implement with young people back home

๐Ÿ˜๏ธ Visit community spaces and youth organisations in Heidelberg and other municipalities during field trips

๐Ÿค Contribute to two preparatory online workshops before the training to co-develop the programme together

๐Ÿ† Receive a Youthpass certificate and an official certificate from the partner organisations upon completion

Accommodation, Food & Travel

๐Ÿจ Accommodation, two meals a day, and all programme costs are fully covered by Erasmus+

โœˆ๏ธ Travel support is provided โ€” travel costs are reimbursed up to โ‚ฌ395 or your respective rate according to the EU distance calculator

๐Ÿ“‹ After confirmation, your spot is reserved for 10 days โ€” you will need to show your flight ticket or reach an individual agreement with your sending organisation within this period

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Day 2: Community visits, mapping local youth spaces, and dialogue with practitioners at Collegium Academicum Heidelberg

Participant Profile

๐Ÿ‘ค You are generally 21 or above โ€” graduate students engaged in youth-related work are also welcome

๐Ÿ’ผ You are a youth worker, educator, social worker, community organiser, or young professional working with or creating spaces for young people

๐ŸŒ You are motivated to connect local practice with international perspectives and apply what you learn back home

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ You are able to work in English throughout the training

๐Ÿ›๏ธ You need to suggest a sending organisation or be nominated by a partner organisation โ€” if you are from Spain, Austria, Turkey, or Germany, nomination through a partner organisation is available

๐Ÿ“ Note: The training focuses on city-to-city exchanges โ€” at least two participants per city are expected
