Theย European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity in Helsinki, Finlandย focuses on supporting the global renewable energy initiativeย EKOenergy, a non-profit ecolabel promoting sustainable electricity worldwide.

Hosted by the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, this long-term volunteering experience allows young people to contribute to climate action, environmental campaigns and renewable energy advocacy while gaining experience in communication, research and international environmental work.
The organisation has hosted more than 100 ESC volunteers since 2012, offering strong mentoring and an international volunteer community in Helsinki.
๐ About the Volunteering Project
The project supports EKOenergyโs global mission to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and encourage companies and consumers to switch to sustainable electricity sources.
Volunteers will support environmental campaigns, outreach activities and research tasks while working closely with environmental experts and international partners.

The experience also provides opportunities to learn about EU climate policy, renewable energy markets and international environmental advocacy.
