“Roots Awakening Vol. 2” is a European Solidarity Corps volunteering project in Bunovo village, Bulgaria, focused on sustainability, eco-community development, and green skills.
Volunteers will contribute to building and supporting a local eco-community hub, developing practical environmental skills while living in a rural environment connected with nature.
The project promotes green competencies, sustainable lifestyles, mental and physical wellbeing, entrepreneurship skills, and community participation.
🌍 About the Project
The volunteering activity takes place at Amorea Garden Eco-Hub, where volunteers will collaborate with the local community to develop sustainable infrastructure and environmental initiatives.
Participants will experience a lifestyle centred around eco-construction, organic gardening, biodiversity protection and community cooperation.
This project encourages volunteers to reconnect with nature while developing practical sustainability skills and personal competences.

🌿 Participating in eco-building projects using natural materials and traditional techniques
🌾 Supporting permaculture gardening and organic food production
🌳 Helping develop infrastructure for a botanical garden and eco-centre

🏠 Shared dormitory accommodation and private camping tents at the eco-hub

🚌 Access to public transport connections from Sofia to Bunovo village
💶 €7 per day pocket money
