๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Opportunity
This ESC volunteering project takes place in Sopron, Hungary, near the Austrian border, within an English-speaking daycare and early childhood learning environment.
The project focuses on supporting young children aged 1.5โ4 years old through intercultural learning, play-based activities and social development.
Volunteers will help create a multicultural environment where children can explore the world through games, creativity and cultural exchange.

๐จ Supporting daily activities with children in the daycare
๐ Sharing cultural traditions, languages and creative ideas
๐งธ Helping children develop social and communication skills through play
๐ญ Participating in creative learning and educational activities
๐ Supporting afternoon classes and seasonal activities such as summer camps
The aim is to help children grow in an open and inclusive learning environment while volunteers gain valuable experience in early childhood education and intercultural learning.

๐ Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment provided by the host organization.
๐ก 60 mยฒ fully furnished flat for two volunteers
๐ณ Fully equipped kitchen, dining area and bathroom
๐ณ Located close to the city center and near a forest
๐ฝ Volunteers may eat at the daycare or prepare their own meals.
๐ฐ Volunteers receive:
๐ถ Household allowance for meals and basic expenses
๐ต Monthly pocket money
๐ฑ SIM card and bicycles for local mobility
๐ Training and Learning
๐ Volunteers will participate in On-Arrival Training organized by the Hungarian National Agency.
Additional learning opportunities include:
๐ง Cultural and work-related workshops organized by the daycare
๐ฃ Access to online language learning platforms to study English or Hungarian
๐ค Participant Profile
The project welcomes volunteers who:
๐ถ Are interested in working with young children
๐ Are motivated to contribute to a multicultural learning environment
๐จ Are creative and enthusiastic about educational activities
๐ค Are proactive and responsible team members
Previous experience or education related to early childhood development or education is considered an advantage.
Good English language skills are also expected.
