๐ŸŒ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Opportunity

This ESC volunteering project takes place in Sopron, Hungary, near the Austrian border, within an English-speaking daycare and early childhood learning environment.

The project focuses on supporting young children aged 1.5โ€“4 years old through intercultural learning, play-based activities and social development.

Volunteers will help create a multicultural environment where children can explore the world through games, creativity and cultural exchange.

๐ŸŽจ Supporting daily activities with children in the daycare
๐ŸŒ Sharing cultural traditions, languages and creative ideas
๐Ÿงธ Helping children develop social and communication skills through play
๐ŸŽญ Participating in creative learning and educational activities
๐Ÿ• Supporting afternoon classes and seasonal activities such as summer camps

The aim is to help children grow in an open and inclusive learning environment while volunteers gain valuable experience in early childhood education and intercultural learning.

๐Ÿ  Accommodation, Food & Financial Support

Volunteers will stay in a shared apartment provided by the host organization.

๐Ÿก 60 mยฒ fully furnished flat for two volunteers
๐Ÿณ Fully equipped kitchen, dining area and bathroom
๐ŸŒณ Located close to the city center and near a forest

๐Ÿฝ Volunteers may eat at the daycare or prepare their own meals.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Volunteers receive:

๐Ÿ’ถ Household allowance for meals and basic expenses
๐Ÿ’ต Monthly pocket money
๐Ÿ“ฑ SIM card and bicycles for local mobility

๐Ÿ“š Training and Learning

๐Ÿ“ Volunteers will participate in On-Arrival Training organized by the Hungarian National Agency.

Additional learning opportunities include:

๐Ÿง  Cultural and work-related workshops organized by the daycare
๐Ÿ—ฃ Access to online language learning platforms to study English or Hungarian

The project welcomes volunteers who:

๐Ÿ‘ถ Are interested in working with young children
๐ŸŒ Are motivated to contribute to a multicultural learning environment
๐ŸŽจ Are creative and enthusiastic about educational activities
๐Ÿค Are proactive and responsible team members

Previous experience or education related to early childhood development or education is considered an advantage.

Good English language skills are also expected.
