๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Opportunity
This ESC Team Volunteering project takes place in Athens, Greece, bringing together international volunteers to support initiatives focused on mental health awareness, social inclusion and environmental sustainability.
Volunteers will join the IASIS community and collaborate with individuals facing mental health challenges and other vulnerable situations, contributing to educational and awareness activities within the local community.
The project also explores the circular economy and clothing reuse, encouraging sustainable practices and creative collaboration.

A special highlight of the project is contributing to the โCelebrate Loveโ fashion show, an event featuring garments made from recycled clothing while sharing the stories of marginalized individuals. The event aims to raise awareness about mental health, sustainability and social solidarity.

๐ Accommodation, Food & Living Conditions
Volunteers will stay in accommodation located in the Municipality of Marathon, close to the sea.
๐ก A renovated two-floor building with 15 double rooms
๐ฟ Each room includes a private bathroom and balcony
๐ณ Access to shared kitchen and living spaces
๐ฟ Large courtyard and outdoor area for group activities
The building is located about three minutes walking distance from Marathon Beach, offering a peaceful environment for the volunteering experience.
๐ Training and Learning Activities
Volunteers will participate in training sessions and workshops focusing on:
๐ง Mental health awareness and psychosocial rehabilitation
โป๏ธ Circular economy and sustainable clothing management
๐ Environmental sustainability and zero-waste practices
Participants will also collaborate with vulnerable groups in activities promoting social awareness and community engagement.
๐ค Participant Profile
The project is looking for volunteers who:
๐ Are 18โ30 years old
๐ Are legal residents of an Erasmus+ programme country and do not require a visa to enter Greece
๐จ Are interested in non-formal education and social intervention activities
๐ข Are motivated to design and implement learning activities
๐ค Are proactive and open to working in international teams
๐ฑ Are willing to share project experiences through social and visual media
