🌍 European Solidarity Corps Humanitarian Aid Volunteering Opportunity
This ESC humanitarian volunteering project takes place in Hanoi, Viet Nam, focusing on environmental education, climate awareness and community development.
Volunteers will work with the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) to support educational activities and awareness initiatives addressing environmental protection, climate change and sustainable practices.
The project combines intercultural learning with community engagement, allowing volunteers to contribute to environmental education programs and youth empowerment initiatives.

🌍 Facilitating environmental awareness and climate education activities
🗣 Teaching languages and supporting interactive educational discussions
🌿 Promoting sustainable and green practices in the local community

Volunteers will collaborate closely with local staff and other international volunteers while supporting community-based initiatives.

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Transport
Volunteers will live in shared accommodation in Hanoi.
🏡 Twin rooms with air conditioning during summer
🚿 Hot water, Wi-Fi and shared living spaces
🍽 Three meals per day for six days per week
🚌 Volunteers will receive a monthly public transport bus pass.
The accommodation is located in a local neighborhood away from tourist areas, offering a deeper cultural experience.
📚 Training and Support
Volunteers receive comprehensive preparation and support during the project.
💻 Online pre-departure training before travel
📍 On-arrival training in the host country
👥 Continuous support from a dedicated mentor
Additional evaluation sessions include:
📅 Mid-term evaluation training after three months
📅 Final evaluation before departure
📅 Follow-up meeting after returning home
👤 Participant Profile
Applicants should:
🌍 Be 18–35 years old
🤝 Live in an EU Member State or an associated partner country
🧠 Be open-minded, flexible and motivated
💬 Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
🎥 Skills in photography or video making are considered an advantage
👥 Experience working with vulnerable communities is beneficial
Volunteers should be motivated to contribute to humanitarian work and environmental education while experiencing intercultural exchange.
