๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Teams Opportunity
The RISE Project is an ESC Volunteering Teams activity taking place in Crotone, Italy, focused on social inclusion, community engagement and sustainable local initiatives.
Hosted by a local social cooperative, the project aims to support the social, cultural and economic development of the local area through various educational and community activities.
The cooperative works with young people, migrants and vulnerable groups while promoting innovative learning initiatives, social support activities and sustainable local development.
During the project, volunteers will contribute to community life while gaining hands-on experience in teamwork, social projects and intercultural collaboration.
๐ฑ Volunteer Activities
๐จ Supporting the management of the hostel run by the organisation
๐ Participating in renovation activities and maintenance of open spaces
๐พ Taking part in farm activities and learning about local agriculture
๐ณ Cooking with local products and sharing meals with the team
๐ค Supporting activities with migrants and vulnerable groups
๐ Assisting organisations that provide food for people in need
๐ฐ Collaborating with a local newspaper and creating social media content
๐จ Participating in comics workshops and creative activities
๐ Joining local dance classes and cultural exchange activities
Volunteers will also have the opportunity to propose their own workshops related to their interests and skills.

๐จ Accommodation provided in the hostel managed by the organisation
๐ Shared double or triple rooms with private bathroom
๐ณ Meals prepared collectively by volunteers and staff during activities
๐ถ Pocket Money
17 โฌ per day
Travel expenses are included in this amount.
Participants must keep all tickets and boarding passes for reimbursement procedures.

The project includes several learning and evaluation moments.

On-arrival training during the first 3 days organised by Associazione Joint
๐ Mid-term evaluation through reflection forms
๐ Final evaluation and Youthpass Certificate during the last two days
๐ค Participant Profile
The project is looking for volunteers who:
๐ Are aged 18โ30 years old
๐ Are citizens or residents of EU countries
๐
Are available for the entire project period
๐ฅ Have experience in video-making or youth work, or
๐ Have been unemployed for more than one year / come from rural areas / face economic disadvantages
Volunteers should also:
๐ฑ Enjoy outdoor activities
๐ค Be comfortable working in groups and interacting with the public
๐ Be ready for manual and practical work
๐จ Be creative, curious and open-minded
๐ฑ Have basic knowledge of video editing or content creation (preferred)
๐ Volunteers must send their CV in English when applying.
