๐ European Solidarity Corps Volunteering Teams Opportunity
More Than a Vote (Europe Week 2026) is an ESC Volunteering Teams project taking place in Jรถnkรถping, Sweden, focusing on youth participation, democratic engagement and active citizenship.
The project will bring together 12 international volunteers who will collaborate with local youth and current ESC volunteers to organize and implement activities during Europe Week 2026.
Through this initiative, young people will help highlight the importance of youth participation in democratic life while developing practical skills in event organisation, communication and intercultural teamwork.
Volunteers will actively contribute to promoting civic engagement and raising awareness about democratic participation across the community.

๐ข Supporting marketing and outreach activities
๐ฑ Managing social media and communication tasks
๐ช Assisting with event organisation and logistics during Europe Week
๐ฆ Supporting resource management and coordination of activities
๐ค Collaborating with local youth groups and community partners
๐ณ Promoting discussions on active citizenship and youth participation
The project allows participants to experience real-life civic engagement while developing valuable professional and social skills.

๐ Accommodation, Food & Transport
During the volunteering period, participants will receive:
๐ Accommodation in a shared hostel facility in Huskvarna
๐ Public transport card with unlimited rides in the JรถnkรถpingโHuskvarna zone
๐ฝ Food allowance and pocket money
๐ฉบ Complementary health insurance (in addition to the European Health Insurance Card)
โ๏ธ Travel reimbursement according to the ESC distance calculator
๐ Youthpass certificate after completion of the project
๐ Training and Support
The project begins with a 3-day introduction and onboarding programme to prepare volunteers for their tasks and integration into the project.
Participants will also receive guidance and support from the project coordinators during the entire volunteering period.
