๐ โRhythms of Movementโ is an international Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Berlin, Germany, designed for youth workers who want to explore dance and embodied learning as transformative tools in youth work practice.
๐ The training explores movement as a conscious and empowered act. Based on the understanding that the body reflects both inner experiences and the surrounding world, participants will investigate the two-way communication between body and mind and how movement can become a powerful method for reflection, connection and social awareness.
๐ง In response to challenges such as information overload, fast-paced urban lifestyles and limited contact with nature, the course supports reconnection with the body. Movement is introduced as a playful and accessible practice to question habitual patterns and imposed rhythms affecting young people today.
๐ฟ Drawing from contemporary dance practices, participants will explore play, improvisation and rhythm to move beyond daily physical patterns and discover new emotional and relational dimensions. Both indoor and outdoor environments will be used as active partners in learning. In the second phase, participants will reflect on their experiences and develop additional movement-based tools that can evolve into concrete methodologies for their own youth work contexts.
