Stage Within is a 5-day international Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Tenhola, Southern Finland 🇫🇮, designed to strengthen youth workers’ capacities in using arts-based methodologies to promote Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) among young people aged 15–20.
Through experiential workshops in dance, music, and theatre, participants will explore how creative expression can foster emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy, and meaningful relationships in youth work settings.

Objectives
🎯 Strengthen understanding of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in non-formal education
🎭 Develop practical competences in arts-based methodologies (dance, music, theatre)
🤝 Enhance facilitation, intercultural communication and reflective practice skills
🌍 Support sustainable follow-up initiatives integrating arts-based SEL into local youth work
The training focuses on three core SEL goals
💡 Developing self-awareness and social awareness
🧠 Strengthening self-management
🤝 Building relationship skills
Participation in all workshops throughout the week is mandatory. The daily schedule runs approximately from 08:00 to 20:00 including meals and breaks.
