🌍 Project Overview
🤝 This ESC volunteering opportunity takes place in Vila de Cucujães, Northern Portugal, within the local branch of the Portuguese Red Cross.
This is a hands-on, community-focused experience where volunteers actively contribute to improving people’s lives through practical daily tasks and teamwork. Every day brings different responsibilities and meaningful interaction with the local community.
Volunteers will take part in activities such as:
🍞 Supporting the Food Bank
👵 Assisting at the Elderly Nursing Home
♿ Contributing to activities at the Rehab Center
🌱 Helping at the Pedagogical Farm in a Primary School
🌍 Participating in environmental initiatives
🤝 Supporting occasional community projects
This project is ideal for volunteers who enjoy staying active, working with their hands, and engaging directly with people in a rural community setting.

🏠 Shared fully equipped apartment (Wi-Fi, bedding, towels, kitchen utensils) within walking distance of work sites
💶 €330 per month for food and personal expenses

Volunteers should be prepared to adapt to local rural conditions (no air conditioning or heating).
