๐ This ESC Humanitarian Aid volunteering opportunity takes place in Tserovani IDP Settlement, Georgia, within the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Hub.
The organisation focuses on peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and confidence-building initiatives related to the South Ossetia region. It collaborates with international and local NGOs to support internally displaced persons (IDPs), strengthen civil society, empower women and youth, and work with Ukrainian refugees.
The volunteer will contribute to empowering vulnerable groups through technology and communication strategies. Key responsibilities include:
โจ Conducting internal workshops on communication strategies
๐ Creating content strategies and producing written and visual materials
๐ฅ Filming and editing promotional, training, and informational videos
๐จ Ensuring brand consistency across communication materials
๐ฐ Writing press releases and collaborating with media partners
๐ Tracking communication impact using analytics tools
This role combines humanitarian action, digital communication, and social impact in a conflict-sensitive environment.

๐ค Participant Profile
โ๏ธ 18โ35 years old
โ๏ธ Resident of eligible countries (EU Member States, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Tรผrkiye)
โ๏ธ Completed compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training
โ๏ธ Degree and experience as a social worker
โ๏ธ Fluent in English
โ๏ธ Strong written and communication skills
โ๏ธ Good knowledge of AI programmes
โ๏ธ Detail- and deadline-oriented
โ๏ธ Able to work independently and in teams
โ๏ธ Motivated and adaptable to local context
Applicants must not have previously participated in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. The total duration of EU volunteering participation cannot exceed 12 months.
