🌍 Project Overview
“Orgogliosi Volontari per la Solidarietà 8 – Volontariato in Asili” is a European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project implemented by Associazione Antigóna in cooperation with Fundacja Integracji Społecznej PROM in Wrocław (Breslavia), Poland.
The project focuses on supporting public kindergartens and early childhood education by involving motivated volunteers in daily educational, creative and care-related activities with children aged 3–6. The experience combines pedagogy, creativity, intercultural learning and community engagement, while offering strong training and mentoring support.

🧩 Main Activities
👶 Assisting teachers in public kindergartens with children aged 3–6
🧸 Supporting daily care routines such as dressing, eating and self-help activities
🎨 Designing and running art and craft workshops based on personal skills
🌍 Presenting Italian culture through activities for children and parents
🗣️ Supporting foreign language learning (Italian or English)
🏫 Improving the aesthetic and learning environment of kindergarten spaces
🎉 Participating in community events promoting European Solidarity Corps values
📻 Supporting dissemination activities through local events and radio programmes

🚌 Local transport costs fully covered
✈️ Travel from Italy to Poland and back fully reimbursed
🛡️ Full insurance coverage included

📚 Training During the Activity
🎓 Pre-departure training in Italy
🎓 On-arrival training in Poland
🎓 Final evaluation training at the end of the project
📘 Training on safety rules, childcare methods and teamwork
🗣️ Polish language course twice a week during the first 2–3 months
🤝 Personal mentor supporting the volunteer throughout the project

👤 Participant Profile
👶 Enjoys working with children aged 3–6
🧠 Responsible, reliable and motivated
🎨 Creative, flexible and open-minded
🌍 Willing to live abroad and integrate into the local community
🗣️ Communicative level of English required
👧 Previous experience with children (scouting, babysitting, similar) is preferred
🇮🇹 Open only to participants from Italy
