๐ Project Overview
Village Together is a European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project taking place in western Czechia, in the municipalities of Spรกlenรฉ Poลรญฤรญ, ลฝinkovy and Mฤcholupy, located within 30 minutes of Plzeล. The project is implemented by Mรญstnรญ akฤnรญ skupina svatรฉho Jana z Nepomuku, z.s. and focuses on the cultural and social revitalization of rural communities where opportunities for community life are often limited. The volunteer actively contributes to community centres, open clubs, and local solidarity initiatives, while also having space to develop personal ideas and pilot initiatives.

๐งฉ Main Activities and Tasks
๐๏ธ Supporting leisure and community activities at the Community Centre in Spรกlenรฉ Poลรญฤรญ
๐ฅ Assisting open clubs and local initiatives in ลฝinkovy and Mฤcholupy
๐ฟ Caring for a community garden and outdoor shared spaces
๐ Managing and supporting a public clothes-sharing closet
๐ฅซ Assisting activities of the local food bank
๐ถ๐ต Participating in intergenerational activities with children, youth, adults and seniors
๐จ Contributing ideas and pilot initiatives to enrich local community services
๐ก Accommodation, Food and Financial Support
๐ Private room with bathroom and kitchen on the organisationโs premises
๐ฝ๏ธ Food fully covered with lunch at the school canteen or self-cooking options
๐ถ Pocket money of 7 EUR per day
โ๏ธ Travel costs reimbursed according to ESC distance limits
๐ Bus connections to Plzeล and the national railway network for free-time travel
๐ Training and Support During the Activity
๐ Learning community work and non-formal education methods
๐ช Gaining experience in event organisation and intergenerational activities
๐ฑ Training in community garden care, food bank support and clothes-sharing systems
๐ค Continuous mentoring, guidance and learning support from the MAS SJN team
๐ก Encouragement and space for developing personal ideas and initiatives

๐ Basic English knowledge for communication
