🧭 About the Volunteering Opportunity
Activities on Refugee Empowerment and Youth Information is an European Solidarity Corps individual volunteeringproject hosted by GAP Gençlik Derneği in Şanlıurfa, Türkiye. The project focuses on youth work, children, and refugees, aiming to strengthen social inclusion, civic participation, and democratic values through non-formal education and community-based activities. Volunteers will support the association’s daily work, collaborate with local partners, and contribute to the development and implementation of youth and refugee-focused projects.

To empower young people and refugees through inclusive youth work, non-formal education, and participatory activities while strengthening volunteers’ competences in project development and quality management.

🧩 Volunteer Tasks and Activities
🤝 Support youth work activities with children, young people, and refugees
🎒 Take part in non-formal education sessions and outdoor activities
🖥️ Contribute to visual presentations, workshops, and youth information activities
🌍 Work together with local partners in community-based initiatives
🧠 Participate in project development processes and quality management discussions

🏠 Accommodation and Daily Support
🏡 Shared accommodation with 2–3 people per room
🍽️ Fully equipped kitchen and common living spaces
🛏️ Blankets, pillows, and bed linens provided
📶 Internet access available at the centre and accommodation
💶 Food money, pocket money, and travel reimbursement provided in euros according to ESC rules

📚 Training and Learning Opportunities
🎓 On-arrival training organised by the Turkish National Agency when available
🗣️ Language courses for long-term volunteers
🧠 Participation in trainings and workshops organised by the host organisation
📜 Youthpass certificate for competence recognition
