This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Individual Volunteering opportunity takes place in Ankara, Tรผrkiye ๐น๐ท and focuses on sport as a social tool to promote health, inclusion, youth participation, and community engagement. Volunteers contribute to local sport activities, youth initiatives, and international youth actions while developing personal, social, and professional skills.
๐ฏ Volunteering Activities
Volunteers will take part in activities aligned with their interests and abilities, including:
โฝ Promoting amateur sport among young people and increasing participation
๐ Supporting sport activities such as swimming, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, and tennis
๐ง Raising awareness on healthy and inclusive lifestyles through sport
๐จ Using organisational and creative skills to support international youth activities
๐ Assisting the preparation and organisation of youth exchanges, sport events, and cultural initiatives
๐ฃ Supporting communication and outreach activities to engage local youth
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ฝ๏ธ Monthly food allowance and pocket money paid in cash (EUR)
๐ Local transport costs covered when required (tickets or metro cards)
โ๏ธ Travel expenses reimbursed upon submission of original receipts in line with ESC 2025 financial rules
๐ Training & Learning Opportunities
๐ Structured non-formal learning through sport and outdoor activities with local communities
๐ซ School activities and youth-focused workshops
๐๏ธ Administrative and office support tasks
๐ฑ Social media support and communication activities
๐ญ Organisation of cultural events
๐ฃ๏ธ Turkish and language lessons, speaking clubs
