๐ About the Opportunity
This European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteering project takes place in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany, hosted by Stadtjugendring Esslingen e.V., the local youth council supporting children, young people, youth groups, and volunteers across the city.
The Youth Office acts as a key contact point for improving young peopleโs living conditions, representing their interests, supporting youth initiatives, and strengthening local youth participation. As a volunteer, you will actively contribute to local youth projects, promotion activities, event organisation, and daily youth office work, while bringing an intercultural perspective into community-based youth work.

๐ฃ Promoting youth projects and activities within the local community
๐งฉ Supporting the organisation, planning, and preparation of activities
๐ง Direct interaction with children and young people during activities
๐ฆ Helping with materials, logistics, and practical tasks for events
๐ Bringing your own ideas and intercultural perspective into youth work
๐๏ธ Supporting office work related to youth projects and initiatives
๐ Accommodation, Food & Transport
๐ก Accommodation provided in a shared volunteer house located in the same building as the organisation
๐ฝ๏ธ Shared kitchen, bathroom, and common areas
๐ Free public transport card (tram, train, and bus)
๐ถ Pocket money, accommodation, insurance, and local support covered by the European Solidarity Corps
๐ Training & Support
๐งญ Welcome training covering rights, responsibilities, and daily work
๐ฃ๏ธ Language support to learn or improve German
๐ค Continuous mentoring and regular reflection meetings with external support persons
๐ Participation in On-Arrival Training and Midterm Training organised in Germany

๐ค Participant Profile
โ๏ธ Aged 18โ30
โ๏ธ Motivated to work with children and young people
โ๏ธ Comfortable with basic office and computer work
โ๏ธ Interested in youth work and community activities
โ๏ธ Physically able to help with materials and logistics
โ๏ธ Good knowledge of English, basic German is an asset
โ๏ธ Friendly, active, and open-minded personality
๐ Driving licence is an advantage but not mandatory
