Identifying needs, generating ideas, testing solutions, collaborating in teams, reflecting on results โ€” these are not just entrepreneurial steps. In this training, they become a structured learning framework that youth workers can take back to their communities and apply directly in non-formal education settings.

Fundacja Instytut Europejski is organising The Entrepreneurial Process as a Learning Method โ€” an Erasmus+ accredited training course taking place in Struga, North Macedonia, from 23 to 29 August 2026. The course brings together 32 youth workers, trainers, facilitators, and educators from across Europe, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme with funding already confirmed.

What Is This Training About?

The course introduces the entrepreneurial process as a transferable, structured learning method within non-formal education. Rather than teaching entrepreneurship as a business concept, it uses the stages of the entrepreneurial process โ€” need identification, ideation, solution testing, team collaboration, and reflection โ€” as a pedagogical framework for developing key competences among young people.

The programme promotes a shift from activity-based approaches towards process-oriented, competence-driven practice โ€” equipping facilitators with the methodological confidence to design learning environments that actually build something in the people who experience them.

Activities

๐ŸŽฏ Interactive Workshops โ€” sessions on process-based learning, facilitation techniques, and developing competences such as initiative, creativity, and problem-solving

๐Ÿ”ฌ Applied Learning Sessions โ€” participants experience and apply the stages of the entrepreneurial process in a non-formal education context
