GO Alive, a youth-focused non-profit in Kozani, Greece, working with EU projects, is looking for a Youth Worker / Social Worker Intern to help design and facilitate workshops, coordinate youth activities and engage young people in non-formal education and community initiatives. This is a 3-month, full-time (35 hours per week) Erasmus+ traineeship. The application deadline is 31 August 2026.
About the Role
As a Youth Worker / Social Worker Intern you help design and deliver workshops and youth events, support the implementation of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, and work directly with local and international young people to encourage participation and social inclusion.
Your Key Responsibilities
🎨 Assist in the design and facilitation of workshops, training sessions and youth events on topics such as mindfulness, active citizenship, sustainability and well-being.
🌍 Support the implementation of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, engaging young people in meaningful learning experiences.
🤝 Work directly with local and international youth, encouraging participation and social inclusion.
🙌 Assist in the coordination of volunteers and youth initiatives.
📱 Develop educational materials and digital content (blog posts, social media updates, videos) to enhance project visibility and impact.

Who Can Apply
The placement suits students or recent graduates at short-cycle (EQF 5) up to Master (EQF 7) level with:
💛 A passion for youth empowerment, education and community engagement.
🌱 An interest in non-formal learning methods and social impact projects.
🤝 Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
🗣️ Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
🎓 Experience in youth work, facilitation or volunteering.
This placement can host candidates who do not require an additional work visa (EU/EEA residents or those with existing residency).
