GO Alive, a youth-focused non-profit in Kozani, Greece, working with EU projects, is looking for a Youth Worker / Social Worker Intern to help design and facilitate workshops, coordinate youth activities and engage young people in non-formal education and community initiatives. This is a 3-month, full-time (35 hours per week) Erasmus+ traineeship. The application deadline is 31 August 2026.


About the Role

As a Youth Worker / Social Worker Intern you help design and deliver workshops and youth events, support the implementation of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, and work directly with local and international young people to encourage participation and social inclusion.

Your Key Responsibilities

๐ŸŽจ Assist in the design and facilitation of workshops, training sessions and youth events on topics such as mindfulness, active citizenship, sustainability and well-being.

๐ŸŒ Support the implementation of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects, engaging young people in meaningful learning experiences.

๐Ÿค Work directly with local and international youth, encouraging participation and social inclusion.

๐Ÿ™Œ Assist in the coordination of volunteers and youth initiatives.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Develop educational materials and digital content (blog posts, social media updates, videos) to enhance project visibility and impact.

Who Can Apply

The placement suits students or recent graduates at short-cycle (EQF 5) up to Master (EQF 7) level with:

๐Ÿ’› A passion for youth empowerment, education and community engagement.

๐ŸŒฑ An interest in non-formal learning methods and social impact projects.

๐Ÿค Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

๐ŸŽ“ Experience in youth work, facilitation or volunteering.
