Description
We invite you to join a 12-month (long term) ESC project in Riga, where you will have the opportunity to choose one of several roles and help develop a youth community. Depending on your skills and experience, you may: organize events (clubs, gatherings, festivals), create designs, shoot videos and photos, manage a community, run an interest-based club, work on marketing activities, manage projects and many more.
About YOUNG FOLKS LV :
Young Folks LV has been working with young people in Riga since 2011. Every month we run 120+ activities for different age groups - clubs (music club, japanese/english/french/german/latvian language clubs, roblox club, 3d printing club, dnd club, boardgames club, ecology club, theater club etc), events etc
We create a space where teenagers and young people can try new things, develop their ideas, meet others and find their own way to get involved

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
ESC volunteering is fully funded by the European Union. The programme covers accommodation, food, pocket money, insurance and travel reimbursement. Travel costs are usually reimbursed at the end of the mobility, according to ESC programme rules and distance limits.
Accommodation: private rooms, shared kitchen and bathroom in an apartment located in Riga center area.
Food: 150 euros per month
Pocket money: 150 euros per month (5 euros per day)
