✨ Project Overview

Join Zavod za Mladino, Šport in Turizem Trbovlje in Trbovlje, Slovenia, and become part of a vibrant school community! 🎒
As a volunteer, you’ll assist teachers, support children’s learning, and bring creativity and intercultural exchange into the classroom.
Your mission: to make education fun, inclusive, and inspiring through non-formal activities and cultural sharing.

You’ll help with homework supportcultural presentations, and sports games, while also leading your own Solidarity activity to strengthen community values within the school.

💡 What You’ll Do

  • 📚 Assist teachers in daily classroom activities
  • 🎨 Organise creative and non-formal learning sessions
  • 🤸 Prepare sports and outdoor games
  • 💬 Present your country and culture to students
  • 🌍 Implement one Solidarity activity in the school
  • 🧩 Join youth centre events 1–2 times a week

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Allowance

  • Accommodation in ZMŠT hostel apartments – individual bed, study area, shared kitchen & bathroom
  • Monthly pocket money: €5/day
  • Food allowance: €126/month + up to €70 reimbursement upon receipts
  • Free public transport card for Trbovlje (optional)
  • Weekends usually free – plus 2 additional leave days per month

🎓 Training & Support

  • On-arrival and mid-term trainings organised by the Slovenian National Agency
  • Ongoing guidance from teachers and youth workers throughout your stay

👤 Who Can Apply

We are looking for a German-speaking volunteer (aged 18–30) who is:

  • Passionate about working with children (6–14 years old)
  • Creative, kind, and reliable
  • Eager to learn, share knowledge, and experience intercultural exchange
