🌟 About the Project
Join L.O.F. Digital Residence’25, an innovative ESC programme by Lug Open Factory, designed to empower young people through digital technology, creativity, and rural development. 🇪🇸💡
In this unique experience, you’ll explore the intersection of digital innovation and rural life. Participants will receive training in 3D design, drone technology, VR, laser cutting, and graphic design, and then use these tools to develop real projects supporting Lugo’s rural communities. 🌾🧠
The goal? To boost digital skills, inspire entrepreneurship, and connect young changemakers who want to bring innovation to rural areas while staying globally connected.
🎯 Main Objectives
- 💻 Improve participants’ digital skills and creativity
- 🌍 Connect rural innovation with global digital culture
- 💡 Develop prototypes and entrepreneurial ideas addressing rural challenges
- 🤝 Encourage collaboration and exchange among rural youth across Europe
- 🧩 Create a digital project that supports sustainable rural development
👥 Participant Profile
We’re looking for motivated and tech-curious young people who are:
- 💬 Aged 20–30
- 🧭 Responsible, respectful, and eager to discover new cultures
- 💡 Interested in technology, digital tools, and innovation
- 🗣️ Able to communicate in English (some Spanish is a plus)
- 🌱 Motivated to contribute to their local or rural communities
- 🤝 Excited to work in teams, learn, and challenge themselves
Some experience in any digital field (3D, design, sound, drones, etc.) is welcome — but enthusiasm and creativity are what matter most!
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
- 🏠 Accommodation in shared rooms at Lug2 Hostel
- 🍽️ Full board with meals included (special dietary needs considered)
- 🚆 Transport covered from home country to Lugo and back
- 🚗 Local transport included for all project activities
🧭 Training & Learning Opportunities
- 💻 Daily training sessions (in-person or online) on digital creation and rural innovation
- 🧠 Guidance from experienced mentors before and during the project
- 🌍 Workshops on digital entrepreneurship and community engagement
- 🗣️ Cultural and intercultural activities connecting participants from multiple countries
