🏫 About the Project
Join L’Enfance de l’Art and contribute to alternative education for young children (3-6 years old) in a Steiner & Loczy-inspired kindergarten! This project focuses on child-centered learning, nature-based activities, and creative expression in a warm, supportive environment.
🎨 What You’ll Do:
🖌 Assist in painting, drawing, storytelling, singing & creative play
🌳 Support outdoor activities & forest walks 🌿
🥖 Participate in cooking & hands-on crafts with kids
🛠 Help create an engaging & nurturing environment
🌍 Share your culture & traditions through interactive activities
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
✔ Private room in a shared volunteer house in Tournai
✔ Food & pocket money provided 💰
✔ Daily transport arranged to Templeuve (where the kindergarten is located)
✔ Easily accessible on foot for crèche activities
🎓 Training & Learning
📚 Informal training on Steiner education before the start
🗣 Weekly team meetings & educational discussions
🎭 On-arrival & mid-term ESC seminars provided by the National Agency
👩🏫 Who Can Apply?
✅ Aged 18-30, with a passion for working with children
✅ Creative, patient, responsible & empathetic
✅ Comfortable with routine & outdoor activities in all weather ☀🌧
✅ Basic knowledge of French is a plus 🗣
✅ Ready to immerse yourself in an alternative education setting
