πŸ‡²πŸ‡ͺ ESC Volunteering in Montenegro πŸ›οΈ Cultural Heritage, Storytelling & Tourism in Podgorica’s Old Town πŸ—ΊοΈ

Podgorica’s Old Town β€” Stara VaroΕ‘ β€” is not just a location. It is a living memory of a city’s past, full of stories that most tourists walk past without ever hearing. This ESC placement is for someone who wants to change that.

Akcelerator DruΕ‘tvenih Promjena β€” Zid is an organisation based in Montenegro working at the intersection of youth work, volunteering, and social policy. Their project focuses on preserving and promoting the cultural identity of Stara VaroΕ‘ β€” the Old Town of Podgorica β€” through cultural interpretation, storytelling, and creative community engagement.

This placement is organised in partnership with sending organisation ICJA – Freiwilligenaustausch Weltweit and is open to participants from Germany only.

The work is creative, people-facing, and rooted in genuine cultural value.
