🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is implemented by MOZAIK INSAN KAYNAKLARI GELISTIRME DERNEGI and takes place in Atakum, Samsun – Türkiye 🇹🇷.
The project hosts international ESC volunteers and focuses strongly on youth work with disadvantaged young people, intercultural learning, and raising awareness about European Youth programmes at local level. The volunteering experience is designed as a structured learning journey, combining personal development, teamwork, and meaningful social impact within the local community.
🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
🤝 Supporting youth work activities with disadvantaged young people
🏫 Contributing to activities in local schools
🎪 Taking part in youth-focused events, seminars, and camps
🌍 Supporting local, national, and international youth initiatives
🧠 Strengthening social, communication, and teamwork skills
🎨 Designing and implementing small personal initiative(s) aligned with your interests
🗣️ Promoting intercultural dialogue, civic engagement, and democratic values
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Support
ℹ️ Accommodation, food arrangements, and local support are organised in line with European Solidarity Corps standards by the hosting organisation.
🤝 Volunteers receive guidance and daily support throughout the activity, ensuring a balanced learning and working experience.
🎓 Learning, Mentoring & Support
👥 Daily teamwork and group-based learning
🎓 Participation in seminars, workshops, and camps
🧭 Ongoing mentoring and supervision by Mozaik team
💬 Online interview process to align motivation, learning goals, and contribution areas

🎂 18–30 years old
🤝 Interested in social work with children and disadvantaged groups
🗣️ Working knowledge of English
🌍 Open-minded, team-oriented, and interculturally sensitive
💡 Motivated to contribute to inclusive youth activities
🧠 Comfortable supporting activities involving children and individuals with mental challenges
