🌟 About the Opportunity

This ESC volunteering opportunity in Trstená, Slovakia 🇸🇰 is hosted by VIAC – Institute for Youth Support and Development, a Catholic NGO dedicated to empowering young people. The organisation is looking for volunteers who have a positive attitude toward Christianity and are willing to share their values through community work, youth engagement and creative activities. 🎨💬 Main Activities

Volunteers will support various educational, creative and community tasks, including:
✨ Helping organise youth activities, workshops and community gatherings
🎨 Creating posters, videos and communication materials
📸 Assisting social media and local promotional work
🤝 Supporting teenagers in non-formal learning settings
🌍 Sharing cultural background, values and experiences
🙏 Participating in the daily rhythm of a Catholic youth community

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

Accommodation is provided in:
🏠 A flat in Trstená city centre
🏘️ Or a flat in nearby Tvrdošín
Volunteers will receive:
🥗 Monthly food allowance
💸 Pocket money according to ESC rules
🍽️ Option to have lunch in the organisation
✈️ Travel reimbursement based on Erasmus+ distance band
All logistical arrangements follow standard ESC conditions.

🎓 Training & Learning

Volunteers will participate in:
👋 Onboarding training in the hosting organisation
📘 On-Arrival Training (National Agency)
📙 Mid-Term Training (National Agency)
🌍 Continuous mentoring and support during the service period

👤 Participant Profile

Ideal volunteers are individuals who:
🙏 Have a positive attitude toward Christianity (preferred)
🤝 Are open-minded and eager to learn new things
👦 Enjoy working with teenagers
🗣️ Have communication-level English
🎨 Have interest or skills in media, design or youth work
✨ Previous experience in social work or volunteering is a plus
