The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) offers prestigious paid traineeships for highly motivated young graduates from EU and EEA countries 🇪🇺🌍. 🏛️ Placement Locations

Successful applicants may complete their traineeships in one of the following EU-OSHA offices:

  • 📍 Resource and Service Centre (RSC) – Bilbao 🇪🇸
  • 📍 Network Secretariat – Brussels Liaison Office (NET-BLO) – Brussels 🇧🇪
  • 📍 Communication and Promotion Unit (CPU) – Bilbao 🇪🇸
  • 📍 Prevention and Research Unit (PRU) – Bilbao 🇪🇸

These units contribute to EU-OSHA’s mission of promoting safe, healthy, productive working environments across Europe.

🎯 Eligibility Requirements

To apply, candidates must:

  • 🇪🇺 Be nationals of EU Member States or EEA countries (Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein)
  • 🎓 Have completed at least three years of university studies and obtained a full degree
  • 📚 For ongoing postgraduate studies, provide proof from the university
  • 🌍 Have knowledge of at least two EU official languages, including English
  • 🇬🇧 Possess excellent English skills (mandatory for EEA applicants)
    Candidates may apply to multiple units but must fill out a separate form for each.

💶 Grants & Benefits

EU-OSHA trainees receive:

  • 💰 A monthly allowance of 1,493.36 EUR
  • ✈️ Travel reimbursement for trainees relocating more than 50 km from the place of employment
  • 🛡️ Mandatory sickness & accident insurance (trainees must arrange their own)

These traineeships offer a strong entry point into EU institutions and the wider European policy landscape.

🧭 Internship Duration

Traineeships last between 6 and 12 months depending on the position and the agency’s needs.
