🏫 About the Project

Centro IRDA is a dynamic youth center in Milan that offers children and teenagers a safe, welcoming space after school. Here, they can join educational, creative, and social activities that support their personal growth and well-being. 🌱

Volunteers play a key role in organizing workshops, supporting teachers and educators, and bringing new ideas to the community. Every day offers a new way to connect, create, and contribute!

🎨 Your Role as a Volunteer

During your ESC experience, you will:
📚 Help children and teenagers with their homework and learning support.
🎭 Assist in creative workshops (music, radio, art, sports, and media).
🎥 Take photos and videos to showcase community life and events.
🤝 Support educators during activities and excursions.
🌍 Promote European opportunities and youth participation.
💬 Collaborate on the center’s social media and blog.
☀️ Join trips, cultural visits, and summer activities with local youth.

You’ll bring energy, curiosity, and positivity — and in return, you’ll gain valuable teamwork, intercultural, and creative skills! ✨

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowance

🏡 Shared apartment in Milan with other ESC volunteers and local youth.
🛏️ Double rooms, shared kitchen, and living area.
💶 Allowance: €6 pocket money/day + €160 food allowance/month.
🚆 Free monthly public transport pass within Milan.
✈️ Travel costs reimbursed according to EU Commission guidelines.

🧭 Training & Support

📚 On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organized by the Italian National Agency.
🎓 Regular support and mentoring sessions from IRDA staff.

You’ll be guided every step of the way while gaining valuable experience in youth work, teamwork, and intercultural learning. 🌍

We’re looking for motivated young people who are:

✅ Interested in arts, media, and sports.
