๐ซ About the Project
Centro IRDA is a dynamic youth center in Milan that offers children and teenagers a safe, welcoming space after school. Here, they can join educational, creative, and social activities that support their personal growth and well-being. ๐ฑ
Volunteers play a key role in organizing workshops, supporting teachers and educators, and bringing new ideas to the community. Every day offers a new way to connect, create, and contribute!

๐จ Your Role as a Volunteer
During your ESC experience, you will:
๐ Help children and teenagers with their homework and learning support.
๐ญ Assist in creative workshops (music, radio, art, sports, and media).
๐ฅ Take photos and videos to showcase community life and events.
๐ค Support educators during activities and excursions.
๐ Promote European opportunities and youth participation.
๐ฌ Collaborate on the centerโs social media and blog.
โ๏ธ Join trips, cultural visits, and summer activities with local youth.
Youโll bring energy, curiosity, and positivity โ and in return, youโll gain valuable teamwork, intercultural, and creative skills! โจ
๐ Accommodation, Food & Allowance
๐ก Shared apartment in Milan with other ESC volunteers and local youth.
๐๏ธ Double rooms, shared kitchen, and living area.
๐ถ Allowance: โฌ6 pocket money/day + โฌ160 food allowance/month.
๐ Free monthly public transport pass within Milan.
โ๏ธ Travel costs reimbursed according to EU Commission guidelines.

๐งญ Training & Support
๐ On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Evaluation organized by the Italian National Agency.

Youโll be guided every step of the way while gaining valuable experience in youth work, teamwork, and intercultural learning. ๐
