Love nature, children, and outdoor education? Then this project is for you! 🌍✨
Join the European Solidarity Corps project “Volunteers for Forest Family Club Kalužníček” in Tišnov, Czech Republic, and discover the magic of learning in the forest! 🌳

Hosted by Za Sebevedomé Tišnovsko, z.s., this project invites volunteers to become part of one of the first outdoor nursery schools in the country — a community that blends play, creativity, and nature-based education to inspire young minds. 🇨🇿

🌿 About the Project

Forest Family Club Kalužníček (www.kaluznicek.cz) is an outdoor nursery located in the village of Lomnička, near Tišnov — just 27 km from Brno.
Each day, up to 18 children (aged 3–7) learn through natural experiences and free play, guided by a small team of teachers and volunteers.

Volunteers will:
🍂 Participate in daily educational and outdoor activities.
🎨 Share creative skills, hobbies, and cultural games.
🤝 Support the children’s emotional, social, and environmental learning.
🎉 Help organise community celebrations and events.
🏫 Connect with nearby alternative schools (Montessori, democratic, etc.) for observation and collaboration.

🏡 Accommodation, Meals & Support

🏠 Volunteers stay in Tišnov, in a comfortable, fully equipped shared house or flat.
🛏️ Each volunteer has a private room and shares kitchen, bathroom, and living areas with others.
🥗 A healthy lunch is provided during the day at the centre.
🍳 Volunteers prepare their own breakfasts and dinners, with a monthly food allowance provided.

🌸 Volunteers are warmly supported by the local community and families.
