🌍 Project Overview
Welcome to FIT – Foundation for Inclusive Teams, an Erasmus+ Training Course designed to strengthen youth workers’ understanding of group dynamics, inclusive leadership, conflict management, communication, motivation, and team development.
This programme, hosted in Szczawno-Zdrój, Poland 🇵🇱, brings together youth workers from:
🇮🇹 Italy • 🇱🇹 Lithuania • 🇵🇱 Poland • 🇷🇴 Romania • 🇪🇸 Spain
Over 8 intensive days, participants will discover how inclusive teams function, how to prevent discrimination, how to facilitate healthier group processes, and how to design non-formal learning methods suitable for every team’s developmental stage.

🎯 About the Project
FIT – Foundation for Inclusive Teams is an Erasmus+ Training Course focused on equipping youth workers with practical tools, tactics and approaches for effective teamwork.
Through experiential learning, participants will explore:
- Group development stages
- Conflict resolution & communication
- Motivation & group roles
- Tools for inclusive facilitation
- Strategies to prevent discrimination
- Methods tailored to each team’s developmental needs
You will practice non-formal tools, test facilitation methods with real youth groups, and receive personalised feedback to strengthen your leadership and teamwork abilities.
🎯 Objectives
- ✔️ Provide a deep understanding of group dynamics, development stages & group roles
- ✔️ Equip participants with tools to resolve conflicts, improve communication & boost motivation
- ✔️ Empower youth workers to prevent discrimination and create inclusive learning environments
- ✔️ Encourage the use of non-formal methods tailored to team needs
- ✔️ Offer hands-on tools to animate and lead team processes during the training in Poland
🧠 About the Activity
The Training Course includes:
- Expert-led sessions on group and team dynamics
- Learning-by-doing workshops
- Real-time facilitation practice
- Methods testing with youth
- Feedback from experienced trainers

- Cross-country knowledge exchange
The programme brings together 25 participants (5 from each country):

🏨 Accommodation
Participants will be hosted at:
Hotel Camelot – Szczawno-Zdrój 🇵🇱
- Private bathrooms

- Situated in a health-resort environment with mineral water springs
- Next to Swedish Park, Castle paths, spa areas & forests
Meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner + coffee breaks.

Szczawno-Zdrój is an old spa resort surrounded by forests, mountains, mineral springs and mild climate — ideal for learning, reflection and group cohesion.
👤 Participant Profile
We are looking for:
- Youth workers, youth leaders, volunteers, trainers, facilitators
- Age 18+
- People with little, medium or growing experience in teamwork
- Anyone motivated to understand & improve group dynamics
- People committed to inclusion, diversity & respectful participation

✈️ Travel Information
Arriving via Wrocław Airport (recommended)
1️⃣ Fly to WRO – Wrocław Airport
2️⃣ Bus → Wrocław Główny (main train station) – 40 mins
3️⃣ Train → Wałbrzych Miasto (~1 hour, ~23.60 PLN)
4️⃣ Hotel is 10–15 minutes from the train station
Alternative: Arriving via Warsaw
Airports:
- Warsaw Chopin (WAW)
- Warsaw Modlin (WMI)
Transport options:
✈️ Plane → Wrocław
🚆 Train → Wrocław
🚌 Bus → Wrocław
Then train to Wałbrzych Miasto, same as above.
Arrive on 12 December before 18:00 → Dinner at 19:00 → First session at 20:00.
Organisers will assist you once they know your exact arrival time.
