Become part of Roter Baum Berlin UGโs international team and contribute to youth development, creativity, and intercultural dialogue!
Based in Berlin, the Zentrale โ Youth and International Office designs and implements international projects within the Erasmus+ framework, promoting non-formal education, inclusion, and cultural exchange.
As a volunteer, youโll gain first-hand experience in youth work, project design, communication, and creative dissemination โ all while living in one of Europeโs most vibrant and multicultural cities! โจ
๐ฏ Main Activities
๐ฌ Support international and local youth projects under Erasmus+
๐งฉ Assist in project cycle management: planning, logistics, and reporting
๐จ Create communication materials (social media posts, flyers, posters, videos)
๐ง Help develop and facilitate workshops and educational sessions
๐ Contribute to intercultural exchanges and local youth events
๐ค Join the team in representing European youth values in daily work
๐ Accommodation, Food & Allowances
๐ก Fully furnished apartment close to the office (private bedroom + shared kitchen & living spaces)
๐ Monthly public transport ticket for Berlin included
๐ด Optional bike use for daily commuting
๐ถ Around โฌ500/month total allowance (covers food, transport, and pocket money)
๐ฒ Kitchen available at the office for meals during working hours
๐ Training & Support
๐ฃ๏ธ Access to the Online Linguistic Support (OLS) platform to learn German
๐ซ Two optional language school courses during the year
๐ค Participation in On-arrival and Mid-term seminars organised by the German National Agency
๐ฑ Continuous mentoring and personal guidance from project staff
๐ผ Regular meetings with the international team and other ESC volunteers
๐ค Participant Profile
We are looking for a proactive and creative volunteer who is:
๐ Interested in Erasmus+ projects, youth work, and international cooperation
๐ก Skilled or curious about design, social media, or arts & crafts
๐ง Motivated to learn about project management and non-formal education
๐ค Able to work independently and in a team
๐ฌ Good English is required; basic German is an advantage
