💡 Project Overview

Get ready to combine creativity, technology, and sustainability! 🌍✨
This Erasmus+ Youth Workers Training Course, hosted by Buinho Associação in Messejana, southern Portugal, is a hands-on learning experience designed for youth workers who want to gain practical green and digital skills.

Through this training, participants will learn how to integrate electronics, programming, and repairability into non-formal education. The focus is on empowering young people while fostering a circular economy mindset and supporting local communities in rural Alentejo. 💪

Organised under the Erasmus+ accreditation project (2025-1-PT02-KA151-YOU-000297279), the course connects youth workers from Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, France 🇫🇷, and Belgium 🇧🇪 to share best practices in maker education, digital fabrication, and sustainability.

🧭 About the Training

This is your opportunity to:
🔹 Travel to Portugal and collaborate internationally
🔹 Learn digital design and fabrication (Arduino, micro:bit, toy hacking)
🔹 Master repair techniques for small electronic devices
🔹 Organize and run a local Repair Café 🛠️
🔹 Explore non-formal education tools and green skills
🔹 Earn a certified Youth Training supported by the Erasmus+ Programme

You’ll work directly in Buinho’s fablab — a creative space combining digital innovation and environmental awareness. 🌱💻

🏡 Location & Venue

The course takes place in Messejana, a charming village in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal 🇵🇹.

Two training rounds available (each one week):
- 1–7 December 2025
- 8–14 December 2025

👥 Participant Profile

We’re looking for:
✅ Youth workers, trainers, educators, and facilitators (18+)
✅ Citizens or residents of Portugal 🇵🇹, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, France 🇫🇷, or Belgium 🇧🇪
✅ Motivated to learn about electronics, programming, and repairability
✅ Committed to sustainability and local community development
✅ Able to communicate in English and participate actively
