🌍 About the Project

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) remains one of the most persistent violations of human rights worldwide. This Erasmus+ training course is designed to equip youth workers and educators with the tools to recognize, address, and prevent GBV through education and youth work.

Participants will explore how gender, power, and social structures interact — and how youth workers can create safe, empowering environments for young people to learn and grow.

This course combines theory and practice, helping participants move from awareness to action.

💡 By the end of the training, you will:

  • Understand key concepts of gender and GBV
  • Learn how to identify and respond to GBV situations
  • Gain practical skills for non-formal education and facilitation
  • Explore ways to design and implement local GBV prevention activities
  • Visit Berlin-based organisations to see real examples of good practice
