This volunteering opportunity invites you to become part of an inclusive community that values creativity, self-expression, and hands-on learning. You will support children in daily activities, encourage intercultural exchange, and help them discover the joy of learning through experience.

🎯 Your Role & Main Tasks

  • 👩‍🏫 Assist teachers in daily learning activities with children of mixed ages
  • 🎨 Organise creative workshops, cultural presentations, and play sessions
  • 🧩 Support the integration of refugee children, including many from Ukraine
  • 🌍 Share your culture through songs, games, and language learning
  • 🧺 Help maintain the classroom and school environment
  • 🧠 Encourage independence and self-confidence in children’s daily routines

👥 Participant Profile

We’re looking for a volunteer who is:

  • 💛 Passionate about working with children and open to alternative education
  • 🌍 Interested in intercultural learning and creative teamwork
  • ✨ Responsible, flexible, and positive in attitude
  • 🤝 Willing to collaborate and adapt to community life
  • 🇵🇱 Motivated to learn about democratic education and Polish culture

Experience in youth work, teaching, scouting, or babysitting is welcome — but above all, we value your motivation and empathy.

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Support

  • 🏠 Shared apartment with other European volunteers (double rooms, equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi included)
  • 🍽️ Monthly food allowance (~130€) and personal allowance (150€)
  • 🚆 Public transport pass for local mobility
  • 💬 Polish language course (4h/week)
  • ✈️ Travel expenses fully reimbursed
  • 🩺 Insurance coverage and medical support provided

🧭 Training & Mentorship

  • 🇮🇹 Pre-departure training in Italy
  • 🇵🇱 On-arrival and mid-term trainings in Poland
  • 💬 Continuous mentorship and support throughout the volunteering period
  • 🧠 Practical learning about non-formal and alternative education methods
