🔧 Activities include:
- Capacity Building and Project Development: Enhance visibility and communication strategies.
- Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): Raise awareness on WASH issues and train local ambassadors.
- Empowering Adolescent Girls and Women: Strengthen women groups and provide livelihood support.
- Volunteer-Led Learning Initiatives: Engage students in fun English language teaching and other educational activities.
🏠 Accommodation: Stay in shared flats with separate bedrooms and access to common facilities. Authentic Odia cuisines provided for meals, with the option to cook. Fieldwork accommodations also provided.
📚 Training: Improve digital skills and implement local actions on project management, inclusion, environment, and more. Receive a 4-day training upon arrival covering local customs, safety protocols, and more.
👤 Ideal participant:
- Passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds with experience or qualifications in community development, education, healthcare, or social work.
- Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to collaborative work essential. Intermediate English required.
