🌟 Project Description

Arci Catania is a cultural and social organisation in the heart of Sicily, supporting youth, culture, and civic engagement through a wide range of initiatives. Volunteers will become an active part of the team, helping coordinate the network of local NGOs, cultural centres, and community projects.

Your activities will include:

📢 Communication support (social media, website, flyers, posters)
📰 Editing of a cultural webzine & collaboration in webradio programmes
🎭 Support for European projects and events
💬 Running information desks on youth mobility opportunities
🏳️‍🌈 Raising awareness on LGBTQIA+ rights, legality and anti-mafia activities
✨ Developing your own personal projects with the association’s network

🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport

Volunteers will live in a shared flat in central Catania, with single rooms, kitchen, bathroom, living room, balcony, and washing machine. All bills are covered.

💶 Monthly allowance: ~330 € (food + pocket money)
🚌 Transport: walking distance to the office

🎓 Training

Access to Online Linguistic Support (OLS)
Free Italian courses at local associations
Possibility to take an official CELI language exam
On-Arrival and Mid-Term training with other ESC volunteers

👤 Participant Profile

We are looking for motivated and creative young people who are:

Interested in social, cultural and community work
Organised, open-minded, and proactive
Keen to fight discrimination and support diversity
Aged 18–30 from eligible ESC countries
