📖 About the Project
Hands for the Community is an ESC volunteering project hosted by Manitese Finale Emilia in collaboration with PiGreco – Semi di Intercultura APS. Volunteers will take part in community events, creative workshops, awareness campaigns, and social garden activities, supporting disadvantaged groups and promoting sustainability. 🌱

🎯 Main Activities

  • 🎭 Support public events, school activities, and creative workshops
  • 🏡 Help in the community garden & care for animals 🐇🐓
  • 🌿 Learn agroecology and sustainable living techniques
  • 🌍 Contribute to awareness-raising campaigns on solidarity, inclusion & the circular economy
  • ✨ Propose and develop your own initiatives within the community

🏠 Accommodation & Meals

  • Shared, fully equipped volunteer house in Finale Emilia
  • Single or double rooms, shared kitchen, bathrooms, Wi-Fi included
  • Monthly food allowance provided 🍽️
  • Bicycles available for local transport 🚲

📚 Training During the Activity

  • On Arrival & Mid-Term training by the National Agency
  • Mentorship and regular team support
  • Access to Online Language Support (OLS) for Italian lessons 🇮🇹
  • Local workshops on non-formal education, communication & sustainability

  • Interested in community life, sustainability, and solidarity
  • Creative, proactive, and sociable 💡
  • Basic English or Italian skills required
