📖 About the Project
This project offers a unique volunteering experience in rural Latvia where you will support youth centres in Kuldīga and Skrunda. The goal is to empower young people to develop ideas, engage in local life, and become active citizens. Through non-formal education, cultural exchange, and creative activities, you’ll inspire youth to explore both their talents and their role in society. 🌿🤝

🎯 Main Activities

• 🎓 Support daily activities of youth centres (debates, workshops, meetings)
• 🎭 Organise creative & cultural events for children and teenagers
• ⚽ Help with sports and recreational activities
• 🌍 Develop initiatives with environmental & sustainability focus
• 🌐 Share your culture and ideas through interactive sessions
• 💡 Encourage youth participation and inspire active citizenship

🏠 Accommodation & Meals

• Private room in shared apartment or single apartment (depending on availability)
• Pocket money + food allowance provided according to ESC rules
• Local transport covered for activities

📚 Training During the Activity

• On-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organised by the Latvian National Agency
• Opportunities to meet other ESC volunteers across Latvia

👤 Participant Profile

• Age 18–30
• Outgoing, motivated, and ready to work with youth and children
• Open to new experiences and personal growth
• Comfortable living in a quiet rural environment
• Able to communicate in English
