📖 Project Description

This ESC project is designed for those passionate about grassroots activism, volunteering, and civic participation. Volunteers will gain experience in:

🌍 Social inclusion & active citizenship projects
🎭 Non-formal education for youth & adults
🛠️ Group management and activity organisation
📣 Political activism and international volunteering initiatives

You will work within Servizio Civile Internazionale APS in Rome, improving professional skills, developing your own ideas, and contributing to a dynamic, intercultural environment.

🎯 Tasks & Objectives

Supporting social projects and non-formal learning activities
Organising cultural events, workshops, and youth activities
Participating in local and international volunteering initiatives
Administrative and project management support
Advocacy, communication, and community engagement

🏠 Accommodation & Meals

Shared flat in La Città dell’Utopia (3 double rooms, up to 6 volunteers)
Kitchen, Wi-Fi, washing machine included
Pocket money: €350/month
Food allowance covered
Travel reimbursement: up to €309 (up to €417 for green travel)
Visa costs: covered up to €100

🎓 Training Provided

6h/day, 5 days/week (max 35h/week)
Non-formal education and team-based learning
2 consecutive free days weekly + 2 holiday days per month
Adjustments for weekend activities

We’re looking for volunteers who are:

Fluent in English (Italian knowledge is an asset)
Motivated, adaptable, responsible, and proactive
Interested in social challenges, democracy, education, anti-discrimination, and local SME support
Ready to live in basic but supportive conditions and embrace intercultural teamwork
