🌟 About the Project

Words for Change is a two-part training course that empowers youth workers and educators to address gender and sexuality education with confidence, inclusivity, and creativity.

Young people today navigate a digital world full of opportunities and risks — from online freedom to cyber harassment and stereotypes. This training equips participants to go beyond traditional prevention campaigns, building inclusive and critical approaches to gender, sexuality, and relationships.


🎯 Objectives

✔️ Deepen knowledge of gender, sexuality, and history
✔️ Strengthen youth workers’ ability to reflect and take positions on sensitive issues
✔️ Create practical educational tools & toolkits on gender & sexuality
✔️ Exchange good practices across Europe
✔️ Build a European peer network for future collaboration

🌍 Non-formal education methods: workshops, group reflections, debates, energizers
🧠 Theoretical inputs combined with participatory learning
📝 Writing-based tools for reflection & creativity
🤝 Peer exchange & collective intelligence to design new approaches

  • Accommodation & meals fully covered by Erasmus+
  • France (Cornus): Shared rooms in a gîte
  • Portugal (Madeira): Shared rooms in a youth hostel
  • Pocket money & travel reimbursement included (based on Erasmus+ distance calculator)
  • Green travel encouraged (bus, train, carpooling)
