📖 Project Description

The My Creative and Caring Community project, hosted by PRONI Centre for Social Education, promotes inclusive volunteering and youth empowerment in the city of Vukovar. Volunteers will work with young people facing fewer opportunities and health difficulties, engaging in:

  • 🎨 Preparing & leading workshops (art, music, sport, dance, language, culture) twice a week
  • 🌱 Supporting inclusive voluntary activities in the local community
  • 🤝 Promoting ESC, solidarity, and intercultural learning
  • 🗣️ Assisting in youth information work and community-based projects

This project is an opportunity to make a real impact by fostering empathy, inclusion, and creativity.

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowance

  • 🏡 Shared rented flat for 2 people near PRONI’s office
  • 💰 250 EUR/month food allowance
  • 💶 10 EUR/day pocket money (in line with ESC 2024 standards for Croatia)
  • 🚍 Living costs fully covered

🎓 Training & Support

  • 🏫 Introduction to PRONI’s activities & policies
  • 🧑‍🏫 Workshop planning & youth engagement training
  • 🇭🇷 Croatian language course via EU Academy
  • 📚 On-arrival & mid-term training by the National Agency
  • 🔄 Additional trainings according to project needs

👤 Participant Profile

We are looking for 2 creative, empathetic, and open-minded volunteers who are:

  • 🌍 Up to 30 years old, from eligible European countries (or Croatia)
  • 🎨 Skilled/interested in art, culture, music, dance, or sports
  • 💻 Comfortable with digital tools (an asset, but not mandatory)
  • 🤝 Willing to take initiative and engage with disadvantaged youth
  • ❤️ Empathetic, patient, and motivated to support inclusion
