🇭🇷 ESC Volunteering in Croatia 📸 Creative Media Magazine and Podcast for the Local Community 🎙️

Description

This long term project will last 17 months, within which voluntary service for two volunteers will last 264 days. Through the goals of this project, the community will develop, but also solidarity and intercultural understanding. Within the community, international volunteering and youth exchanges will be promoted, and it will be promoted as well why it is beneficial for the individual and what is he/she gaining with volunteering and mobility. Volunteer activities will be divided into two groups: 1. Volunteer who will take part in the "Be creative and inspire creativity" position will participate in activities such as writing articles and posts for online magasine, participating on workshops in highschools, organizing intercultural event, participating on volunteer actions; 2. Volunteer in the "Solidarity through a digital view" position will be involved in activities such as photographing workshops, participating on volunteer actions, editing magasine and podcast, making video.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteers are accommodated in Zabok, close to organization of Zagor. They will not need transportation. Every volunteer have his/her own sleeping room. They share bathroom, dining room, living room and kitchen. They cook their own food, the cost of food are covered.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will participate in training that will be organized by National Agency: on-arrival training and mid-term meeting. Zagor will provide additional training and education for volunteers who want to further develop their knowledge and skills.

Participant profile

Zagor is looking for two volunteers who will participate in voluntary service in Zabok. We are looking for volunteers who are independent and responsible, creative, responsive, self-initiative and willing to learn something more and to share their current knowledge and experience in the community. Also, who likes to use digital equipment, who are communicative and flexible. Volunteers will participate in activities in the projects, which Zagor is implementing: photographing the voluntary activities and workshops, designed photos and videos, making posters for social media, edit magasine and podcast (writing an articles, creating the designes, conduct interviews), organising events (intercultural event with youth, game night and other), but also have a chance to create their own projects if they have some ideas.
