Youth Works Hub has gathered 5 fully funded ESC volunteering placements in Belgium, North Macedonia and Hungary, with deadlines running to 23 October 2026. They range from a youth club and a youth house in Belgium to a shelter and food bank project, social activities for people with severe disabilities in Skopje and a 50-day children's project in Hungary. Belgium hosts three of the five placements. Our guide to what the European Solidarity Corps is explains how the programme works.
All five are for young people aged 18-30, and the three Belgian placements, in Jemelle, Ciney and Rochefort, come with French lessons. The Jemelle and Rochefort placements are year-long, and our guide to how long an ESC project lasts has the details, while the Hungarian placement lasts 50 days. The Skopje placement states that no specific qualifications are required, and in Kรกllรณsemjรฉn young people with fewer opportunities get priority and participants receive a Youthpass certificate, which our guide to what Youthpass is explains.
Each call has its own angle:
๐ง๐ช Belgium: a year-long placement in Jemelle supports a youth club with after-school activities, workshops and holiday camps for children and teenagers.
๐ง๐ช Belgium: volunteers in Ciney support a youth house for young people aged 12 to 26 with themed evenings, workshops, excursions and summer camps.
๐ง๐ช Belgium: a year-long placement in Rochefort covers a shelter's vegetable garden, a food bank and upcycled second-hand furniture.

According to Youth Works Hub's review, three of the five placements are open as soon as possible, and the other two close on 20 October 2026 in Skopje and on 23 October 2026 in Kรกllรณsemjรฉn.
