BRIDGE4MOTHERS: Gender-Informed Approaches for Supporting Vulnerable Mothers is an online learning activity designed for professionals working in non-formal learning, youth work, adult education and community-based support.

The training introduces participants to the BRIDGE4MOTHERS approach and provides practical, gender-informed and inclusive pedagogical approaches for working with vulnerable mothers. It focuses on creating safe, accessible and supportive learning environments that recognise the different social, educational and personal circumstances that may affect women's participation and learning.

Through interactive presentations, discussions, practical activities and shared experiences, participants will explore approaches that can be applied in their own professional and community contexts. The training also introduces relevant learning resources and the BRIDGE4MOTHERS e-learning platform.

The activity is particularly relevant for youth workers, trainers, educators, facilitators, VET professionals, adult-learning practitioners and other professionals involved in non-formal learning or community-based support who work with women, mothers or other groups facing barriers to participation.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

strengthen their understanding of gender-informed and inclusive learning approaches;

explore practical methods for engaging vulnerable learners;

reflect on barriers to participation and ways to create more inclusive learning environments;

exchange experiences and practices with professionals from different European contexts; and

access resources and tools that can support their future training and facilitation work.

The training is delivered online in English and uses participatory and learner-centred methods. Participants are expected to actively contribute to discussions and activities and to reflect on how the approaches presented can be adapted to their own work.

Target participants: Professionals working in non-formal learning, youth work, VET, adult education and community-based learning/support, particularly those working with women, mothers or learners experiencing social or other barriers to participation.
